does it ever feel like you’re auditioning every damn day of your life? It seems like you cannot interact with people (or technology) nowadays without having to provide a snippet of yourself in some way. Profiles, social networks, applications -even people – they all ask you to write and or/tell a “little bit about who you are”..show us how much of a unique snowflake you are….or really aren’t; why should i be friends with you? what are your qualifications? blah blah blahhhh. People want to know every last detail about you without making any effort to get there. i’m a pretty private person. It’s not that i won’t share or talk about my life, but i know that in the grand scheme of things, there are just some people that you interact with that don’t really give any fucks about you on the real.

i could save myself so much trouble..if i would just accept people for everything they are, instead of trying to mold them into what i need them to be for me. some people are never going to fill the roles you’ve ascribed to them in your mind. they shouldn’t be punished for that. people are not made up of personality fragments that you can choose and disreguard at pure will. you do not design them, the universe does that. and it does it well. you have to take the good with the bad, accept them. or don’t. realize that people are not really yours, and sometimes, they aren’t meant to be where you put them. i know that personally, i have put people on pedastals who were more steady next to me on the floor; and i have let people come in that should have never made it past my heart’s door….
